The clip causes the audience to always be on the edge of their seats due to the fact that the characters have to make very serious decisions that the audience then sees the impact of. The audience must feel very tense as they do not know which option the character will pick. The use of hyper real sound is noticeable when the ticking of the clock gets increasingly louder and the chatter of the other characters fades. As the timer strucks 15 seconds the sound is back to normal as you can hear the electrocution as well as the other characters reacting. This allows the audience to feel a sense of relief as well as fear as now they know which option the character chose but it is still quite uncomfortable to look at. The audience focus is mostly on the two people wearing the headbands, however more of the focus is towards the character making the decision as they are mostly shown and they are the ones that will cause an effect on themselves or the other character.
