Weather – Rain and wet surfaces
The crew and equipment can be harmed. If it rains, equipment can be damaged and crew can slip on wet surfaces.
Check weather forecast and don’t film if it will rain.
If it does rain, make sure to have an umbrella and cover the equipment. If filming, ask crew to walk cautiously.
Very preventable and little chance to rain so –
Low risk
Wildlife
Crew can be harmed if there are stray dogs, wasps or other wildlife.
Stay away from any nests and animals. Insist that dogs are kept on a leash
Avoid distraction and continue filming.
Somewhat preventable but high risk if chased by dog or wasp.
Medium risk
Tripping on wires
The crew can be harmed if they trip over wires, and equipment can be damaged if it falls over.
Tie up wires together using clip and moves wires to the side. Be careful when walking. This will reduce chance of tripping over wires.
Have someone hold the equipment or stand it on a tripod so if the wire if pulled, equipment wont also fall
Potential danger to both crew and equipment if crew are careless.
Medium risk
Falling from high platform
The crew can fall off a high platform when filming high angle shots.
Stand on a steady platform and try to keep balance. Don’t film on very high platforms, and scout a suitable area to film in before attempting higher risk shots.
If someone falls, make sure to have a first aid kit in case of a cut.
Higher danger the higher the platform is.
Medium risk
Dehydration
The crew can become dehydrated as filming usually takes long periods of time.
Ensure members of the crew bring a bottle of water each during filming.
If a member is dehydrated, pause filming and buy a drink from a nearby store.
Lots of prevention and little danger.
Low risk
Water spill
The equipment could be damaged and potentially become faulty if water spills onto it.
Keep water bottle lids on when no one is drinking. Don’t run around the filming location as you could knock a drink over and damage the equipment.
Have a towel/cloth on hand to dry the equipment as fast as possible.
Low chance to spill water on equipment
Medium risk
Crew splits up
Crew may get lost, especially because the filming will be at night.
Know the area before you film so that you won’t get lost.
Use phones to call/text each other. Can check google maps.
Low risk
Hit by swing
There will be a swing in use while filming. Someone could get hit.
Don’t stand near the swing.
Look before you walk.
If hit, use first aid kit or rest for a few minutes depending on the injury.
Low risk

We created a risk assessment in order to know all the potential risks that may happen to the staff and actors during the production. Furthermore, we rated all the risks on the possibility of how likely they are to happen. For both high and ow level risks we came up with a prevention and counter measure so everyone can stay calm and collected on the day as they will know what they are doing.
